We only stopped for one beer, but the restaurant was still closed. However, the kind owner opened an entire restaurant for us just for us. Respect.

We stayed here for two nights in May 2014. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. The home is a perfect example of Bavarian. Our rooms was quite lovely with a porch outside the French door. We enjoyed two delicious breakfasts as well as a delicious dinner on our first night. We plan to return next year.
Excellent food! Some of the best you can find in the area. Fantastic steak. Vegetables were great. Beautiful view of the Zugspitze. Vwry authentic. But it closes early for dinner so be sure to arrive early or call first.
